Here is a new Microsoft KB article about Services are not detected after you perform a DVB-T channel scan for services from Moscow or from Kiev in Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 or in Windows Media Center in Windows Vista ; however, if Moscow or Kiev is selected and Germany as Country, then services are detected: When you scan for services in Moscow, and you select Russia as the country, no services are detected. When you scan for services in Moscow, and you select Germany as the country, nine services are detected from Moscow . When you scan for services in Kiev, and you select Ukraine as the country, no services are detected. When you scan for services in Kiev, and you select Germany as the country, five services are detected from Kiev. (emphasis added) After the previous problem of placing the Swiss capital in Russia , this is far bolder.
